HALF-RIDE SCHOLARSHIP for fall and winter of next year! Isn't that great? The weird thing is...I never applied for a scholarship....
I know you have to apply for things like this, and I also know you have to have a good GPA, neither of which I have. In fact, I actually got this same scholarship for my freshmen year (ya know, cuz my high school grades rocked!) but I promptly lost it, after my freshmen year. Well, I still have the same grades I did then, yet got it back...somehow. I did apply for a spring and summer scholarship awhile ago, and did receive that since I am now attending summer classes and the grade requirements aren't nearly as strict as for fall. But I purposefully didn't sign up for fall because I would have had to write some essays. And heck, money isn't worth writing essays! Just kidding, it is. But I knew that my grades weren't good enough because I had already tried reapplying and failed. Little did I know, the trick is to NOT APPLY.
I think I'll have something to share for "Good News Minute" in Relief Society for the first time ever. Well, not ever, I did announce when I got engaged....
