Today is 7/11. For all those who haven't heard, the small convenience stores who have been named 7-11 take special interest in this day. In celebration, they give out free slurpies to all! So go get some! Actually, at this time of the day, you probably won't get a free one. We have already tried. Apparently they don't actually plan on supplying free slurpies all day long, because they only purchase a certain amount of cups that are specially made for the free-size (meaning, they're smaller than normal) and when they run out, which they always do, too bad for you. But you may as well try! In other news...I have been spending my work day in very efficient ways today. We have been volunteered to help out the EFY kids in their service project. Apparently they will be knitting something, so we get to untangle balls of yarn and wrap them around giant popsicle sticks so the special EFY kids just have to take nice clean, untangled, yarn directly off a stick.
