Two cosmetic changes have occurred in our lives: 1. Our living room got a rug to cover the green carpet. The best part, the rug cost originally $220, and we got it for $43. 2. I got another new haircut. I think I've changed my hair more in the last year than I have my whole life! I'm still getting used to it, but I think I like it.

Today is the Chinese New Year. I, being married to someone of Chinese decent, now actually know when this holiday is. Little did I know how much this connection I have to the Chinese has grown. Last night I had a dream involving a dragon. I have never had a dream about any type of mythological creature before, but last night Jarom and I set out to stop this dragon from killing the cities it was using as nests. Today I found out it is the year of the dragon. I single-handedly ushered in the Chinese new year of the dragon.
