Ok, so we were really bored at work today, and this is the result. We all made babies. Personally, I think this one is kind of ugly, but if that's what he's gonna look like, guess I'm legally obligated to love him! What do you think about my little new baby Ginarom? The first thing I would like to show off is Jarom and mine stained glass projects. We have both been working on separate pieces, I wonder if you can guess whose is whose. Ü Such a pretty heart Such a mean looking DECEPTICON The second thing, is finally what you have been long awaiting! Pictures of our car! After two weeks of trying to get it legal to drive, we are finally there. Some of the interesting road bumps along the way are as follows: -Had to get new tires, but got a steal of a deal (so shiny...) -Had to pass safety and emissions, but found out there were a couple crucial things out of place before it could pass: namely, the catalytic converter had been removed and must be replaced, as well as the DMV typed in our VIN number wrong on the title. Unfortunately, people aren't inclined to pass off your car in the title VIN doesn't match the car's VIN. So we had to wait for the new bad title to be mailed to us so we could bring it back to get a new good title maile...

My stake has been specially asked to take on the project of Family Name Indexing. This is a process of looking at all those old, hard to read microfilm, deciphering the hand writing and transferring it into type on a computer system that will last much longer. They say since we are a young stake, we are more computer inclined than the rest of the stakes in the world, so we should do it as much as we can. So this was what Jarom and I were doing today during Sunday School. There have often been times when I come across funny names that I suggest to Jarom for our future kids. Most of the time he doesn't think I am very funny. He seems to feel that kids with abnormal names have a traumatized life because no one can pronounce their names. (For some reason, non-mormons don't know where the name Jarom comes from, and they think it's kind of odd. Actually, it's worse when Mormons are the ones who ask him where his name comes from...we won't go there) Well, today I hit...

So, we bought......a CAR!!!!!! YAY!!!!! WE BOUGHT A CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's been about a year now since we've had a working car. My feet have gotten a little tired. It was pretty fast and kind of unexpected, but I think it was worth it. We have casually been looking for awhile, and then we found a 1995 Toyota 4Runner for sale for 1650 that was just a few blocks away from us. We went and looked at it, drove it around, looked at the receipts that totaled around $5000 of replaced parts in the engine a few years ago, and decided to take it for $1500. After examining Blue Book's idea of how much this should cost, we figured it was a good deal, even though it needs new tires. So, no pictures for you right now. I have to clean it all up and make it shiny first. Then you will see pictures. Oh yeah, and there's only one other problem....The lights were left on all night, so now the battery is dead. At the moment, we can't start it. BUT, not to worry b...

So I have a funny story. There is this guy at work who had a cheating situation. The student had copied his grade report from our website and pasted it into Word, changed a few grades and added a few that he hasn't even turned in yet. Then gave it to his counselor so he can graduate from summer school (since he already missed regular graduation). It was funny because he did this for two classes. We had them fax his copy to us so we could compare with the original. Before we even got it we knew he had changed it. We don't ever send this document out as verification and proof of grades cuz we know it can be changed so easily. Instead, we send something completely different. Anyway, we got it. One of the classes he did a pretty good job on. But the other one, he gave himself an A+ for one of the lessons (we don't have A+'s). But the best thing was that for two of the dates of completion for 2 different lessons, he put 7/32/08. So apparently there is a 32nd of July now! Yea...

Two stories for today. First, I was working on a stained glass project earlier today. I was cutting out a piece of glass, and ended up having the sharpest, pointy corner aimed right at myself. Somehow it slipped and put a puncture into my finger. I had gloves on, but the instant that I realized I cut myself, there was already blood coming out spread across my finger. (Sorry for the woozy among you). I went into the kitchen and Jarom cut off the glove from my hand. The whole thing was full of blood. I put a paper towel up against it to stop the bleeding, and pretty much the whole thing got soaked. It was amazing. I think I either got a really deep cut, or I hit an artery or something cuz it was like oozing out pretty dang fast. Anyway, after awhile of pressure I removed the towel to see the damage. I was actually half disappointed half relieved to see it. It's just the tiniest little mark. If you saw it, you probably would think I was over exaggerating and really got bit...

So I just thought I should add some further development to my last story. Today I told some people at work about my weird experience of being bitten, and two other girls instantly knew exactly who I was talking about. They both had gone to ward and stake activities at Kiwanis park and saw him there, biting other people!!! This is a habit of his! It's like he wants to see how many people he can bite and get away with it! It's getting more and more creepy. So, Since I knew this wasn't just a one-time thing, I called University Police and reported it. Unfortunately, all I know is that is name is James. I don't know enough for them to look for the guy. So if anyone knows where he lives or what is last name is, let me know and I will pass it along to the police.
