Typical Weekday Morning for Me

2:25 am: Alarm goes off.
Jarom gets up, dressed, and leaves the bedroom within 3 minutes.
2:28 am: I am asleep again.

6:45 am: Alarm goes off.
I get up.
I go out into the living room where Jarom is (already home from work) sitting at his computer or watching TV. I say hi and ask how work was.
I go back into the room to get dressed and ready.
I go into the kitchen, eat, say bye to Jarom and go to work.

This Morning

Jarom gets up, gets dressed, leaves the bedroom within 3 minutes.
I go back to sleep.
Alarm goes off.
I get up, go out to the living room where Jarom is on the computer (in a coat, he must be cold still). I say hi. He says hi.
As I start heading back to get ready, I ask him how work was.
2:30 am: He tells me that it's 2:30 am.
I don't understand.
He tells me he hasn't gone to work yet, that he just got up 10 minutes ago before the alarm went off.
It feels like it's been hours. I've been asleep, I've had dreams between then and now. I know he already left and then an alarm went off, so now it's time for me to be up.
But it's only 2:30am!!!!
I finally start understanding what is going on (my mind doesn't work so well when I first wake up)
He walks me back into the bedroom to make sure I actually get back into bed and go to sleep. He doesn't trust me in this state, he probably is unsure if I'm actually awake or not.

6:45 am: Another alarm goes off. I get up, get ready, and go to work.

Good and Bad Discoveries of the Week

This week we have discovered the secret to life in Provo!! I am serious, it's the best thing ever, and everyone who lives in or near Provo, must take advantage of this secret to life. 1. Go to the Winsong movie theater 2. Purchase a ticket for "Take" (preferably Matinee) 3. Preferably, do not watch this movie because it is a waste of time. But if you have nothing better to do with yourself, go ahead and watch it. 4. Take your movie stub to the dollar theater located by Costco in Orem 5. Finally, enjoy UNLIMITED free movies at this theater. That's right, I said UNLIMITED FREE MOVIES at the dollar theater. I know this sounds to good to be true, but it is oh so true. I have done it, and it works. Last night, we watched a free Indiana Jones from this movie ticket. It was amazing. The movie Take is pretty worthless, but the reward is priceless. Cake 2.0

Here is our second attempt at fondant covered, decorated cake. We're still working on getting things smoother looking and stuff. It's a chocolate cake with caramel filling. Unfortunately the caramel didn't turn out quite like it was supposed to. It turned into basically sugar. It's probably because I was lazy and used margarine instead of butter. But it's still sweet and that's what's important right?

Going Away Present

Tomorrow is going to be my last day of work at good old Independent Study. It's kind of sad, but also kind of exciting and scary all at the same time. It's sad because I've been here for so long. This is the longest I've ever had one job, and I have made a lot of really good friends here. It's exciting because I will get to have a lot of time off to do whatever I want during the day! And it's scary because I don't have another job lined up yet. After 6 months of applying and interviewing, I'm still none the better for it. I was lucky enough to have one co-worker who cared enough about me and my departure to give me a going-away present.
