Hair, Again

Recently, a few months ago, I decided I wanted to see what it was like to have bangs. So I went to the hair salon and had them cut my bangs.

A few months later (aka now) my bangs were getting to be too long for my liking. But I am cheap and didn't want to pay for another haircut just to have my bangs trimmed. (Before this recent getting of bangs, I would get my hair cut about once a year, or two...) So.........I decided to cut them myself! Here is the result. For a comparison, look over there at the right to see my not-banged self, now look down, see my bangs. Look Right. Look Down. Right. Down.

I like the bangs! I tried to keep my pictures on the positive side of things. How are you doing? What are you up to these days? I'm still at IS. Rush is on the way.

Some salons will do free bang trims in between cuts- I always used to go to Stuart Fraser in "downtown" Provo and they were awesome!

Cake 2.0

Here is our second attempt at fondant covered, decorated cake. We're still working on getting things smoother looking and stuff. It's a chocolate cake with caramel filling. Unfortunately the caramel didn't turn out quite like it was supposed to. It turned into basically sugar. It's probably because I was lazy and used margarine instead of butter. But it's still sweet and that's what's important right?

Going Away Present

Tomorrow is going to be my last day of work at good old Independent Study. It's kind of sad, but also kind of exciting and scary all at the same time. It's sad because I've been here for so long. This is the longest I've ever had one job, and I have made a lot of really good friends here. It's exciting because I will get to have a lot of time off to do whatever I want during the day! And it's scary because I don't have another job lined up yet. After 6 months of applying and interviewing, I'm still none the better for it.
