Since I have nothing noteworthy happening in my actual life to write about, I decided to pull from my less-than-real life for a story. Today I have two dreams to share. If anyone is a professional dream interpreter, feel free to analyze and tell me how weird I am.
Two Nights Ago:
I was back working at Taco Bell, again. (This was my first job as a 16 year old) I was running the drive-through by myself, which can get stressful when it's busy, but I was managing. There were some problems with the speakers and my headsets, me not hearing people's orders and such. But the main part of the dream was when a customer came through and ordered $150 worth of ketchup.
So then I was scrambling around, trying to figure out how many packets of ketchup would equal $150, where the ketchup was even located, how to count out that many at the same time as keeping track of all the other orders coming through, all while keeping the car at the window for less than one minute so the stupid timer wouldn't start blaring at us that we were being too slow. All in all, I was just getting more and more stressed. I woke up before I was able to resolve the issue, and upon conscious thought, realized: Taco Bell doesn't even HAVE ketchup! Not in packets, not as an ingredient, not in ANYTHING! What a bunch of stress for nothing.
Last night:
I was working at my current job, substituting in a Science class. (Apparently jobs make me stressed out or constantly dwelling on them or something...) I was following the lesson plan perfectly. I got to a demonstration portion, something to teach the students a profound scientific principal.
Step 1: Pour the hot sea water with the miniature [dead] sharks in it from the container into the blender.
Step 2: Then pour the cold water with live gold fish swimming around in it into the blender.
Step 3: Similar to oil not mixing with water, the hot water will stay on the bottom and the cold will stay on the top. Turn the blender on for a few seconds, and then when it's off shoe the kids how the gold fish are still perfectly fine! Why? Because they were in the cold water at the top, duh!
Well, apparently I took too long mixing my waters because my cold water definitely sank. When I turned that blender off, I had a bunch of chopped up gold fish floating around.
Epic Fail.
