Fish Heads

Jarom and I were watching Iron Chef America today, where the secret ingredient was this one type of fish. One of the chefs put some fish heads into a pot, and it reminded me of a song I learned a long long time ago about fish heads. Jarom had never heard it, so naturally I found it on Youtube for him to listen for. However, I still have no idea where I heard it from originally or how I know it so well, seeing as it was made before I was even born. So go here, listen to it, and tell me how I know it. i used to listen to it on the sunday stupid songs show on the radio, and then I'd sing it all the time. That's were I learned all of the stupid songs I know! Like carrot juice constitutes murder...

Hey! I got the comforter set at walmart of all places! For the comforter, two shams, and a bedskirt (which we don't actually use) it was around $60, I think... I had to buy the sheets separately, but I got those at walmart, too. I nice creamy color (basically just copied the sheet color from the picture on the comforter set, pretty sure...) :)

Cake 2.0

Here is our second attempt at fondant covered, decorated cake. We're still working on getting things smoother looking and stuff. It's a chocolate cake with caramel filling. Unfortunately the caramel didn't turn out quite like it was supposed to. It turned into basically sugar. It's probably because I was lazy and used margarine instead of butter. But it's still sweet and that's what's important right?

Going Away Present

Tomorrow is going to be my last day of work at good old Independent Study. It's kind of sad, but also kind of exciting and scary all at the same time. It's sad because I've been here for so long. This is the longest I've ever had one job, and I have made a lot of really good friends here. It's exciting because I will get to have a lot of time off to do whatever I want during the day! And it's scary because I don't have another job lined up yet. After 6 months of applying and interviewing, I'm still none the better for it.
